Chefs of the neighborhood competed for donated prizes, with a team of courageous eaters choosing the best dishes in various categories and a grand prize for the top winner.

"One neighbor spent months concocting special dishes that he hoped would win him the top prize! Plus, we invited the local Fire Department to come and savor the goodies; they responded by bringing the Paramedic Ambulance and the Hook and Ladder Truck for all to inspect - it was quite an event!
